Nike’s new innovation in sports bras for girls - called the Nike Seamless Sports Bra - allows girls a full range of motion, like never before. No-slip straps and a racerback design allow for 360 degree movement with ease. The innovative fabric design and colors give her the freedom to style as she pleases, from ballet to surfing to soccer.

I was inspired by this new, bold innovation for girls to create a campaign that felt equally unapologetic, inspiring, and empowering for her. Sports bras can be an uncomfortable topic for girls in the pre-teen zone, and my ultimate goal here was to make girls ages 10-14 feel proud to wear theirs as a symbol of their confidence.

I casted a badass 12 year old skateboarder located in LA, and paired her with one of the most epic bowls I could find, up in the hills. What better way to show 360 degree motion than on the body of someone who never sits still?!

I wanted every piece of this to reflect her personality, her fearlessness, and confidence - even down to the styling, and choosing to leave her bloody knee visible in hero campaign stills.
