In the lead up to the Women’s World Cup - I was part of a team at Nike that dreamt up a media summit that would take over Paris - including every superstar soccer athlete you could imagine, influencers, influential photographers, stylists, and models… who all came together to celebrate the latest Nike innovation, to inspire each other (and collectively lift women up), and continue to elevate our female soccer athletes to superstardom.
The goal we set for ourselves here was to create a joyful, fun, celebratory, immersive experience that would take over social media by storm - and really help to change the perception around Women’s soccer.
I started the project by setting the initial creative direction for the event, creating a theme, and then trickling that theme down into every aspect of the event, including room build out and design, imagery, experiences, and styling and hair and makeup briefs. This project was fast and furious and required a nimble set of hands, so I often found myself working on anything and everything from room design, to styling, to choreography and even music programming.
Safe to say - the power of the female collective here was so strong, this will be an experience I hold near and dear for a very long time.
